An Austin Production Machine Shop Since 2003
Traxis Manufacturing LLC has been in business since 2003, providing CNC milling and turning from our shop in south Austin. The shop is owner-led: Tom Buerkle has been machining since 2008. We work with companies in industrial equipment, automation, electronics and test equipment, energy, and machinery, serving customers locally and across the country.
Enclosure modification is part of the shop’s ongoing work for electronics, energy, and test-equipment manufacturers.
In-house programming, live machine monitoring, and an integrated ERP support the work on the shop floor. You can discuss a job directly with the shop and handle quoting and ordering online.

The south Austin facility brings machining and measurement together: parts are milled, turned, and checked in the same place. Customer drawings and order data are handled with care throughout the job, from the initial request through production and inspection. The machine list gives the specifications for the equipment used here.

Our Quality Commitment
At Traxis, checks during production are followed by a final comparison of the finished parts with the drawing. Inspection uses the portable CMM, a surface plate, and hand instruments. Documentation needs belong in the RFQ so the shop can account for them when reviewing the work. See inspection and reporting details.

Traxis serves customers in 18+ states as of 2026, with repeat production at the core of the work. Customers can work directly with the shop while using the portal for messages, order status, and reorders. Local customers can collect finished parts; shipping is arranged with the customer’s chosen carrier.
